| Temp range | -45°C~200°C |
| Max speed | 15m/sec |
The P36 profile represents a high-performance, double-acting composite piston seal energized by an integrated O-ring, specifically engineered for linear reciprocating motion in heavy-duty hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. The assembly features a uniquely profiled dynamic sealing ring accompanied by a resilient elastomeric O-ring loader situated in its base cavity. This design ensures highly effective bidirectional fluid containment, ensuring optimal leakage control under both minimal working pressures and severe system pressure spikes.
The outer dynamic sealing profile (shown in green) is molded from premium Polyurethane (PUR) or high-grade Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) compound, offering exceptional abrasion resistance, low friction coefficients, and great extrusion stability.
The inner pre-loading component (shown in black) consists of a high-elasticity Nitrile Rubber (NBR) or Fluoroelastomer (FKM) O-ring that delivers permanent radial sealing force over extended operational spans. This robust combination operates reliably within a wide temperature range from -35°C to +110°C and demonstrates complete compatibility with mineral-based hydraulic oils, eco-friendly synthetic fluids, and lubricating greases.
The dynamic profile features a specialized multi-peak sealing face that creates concentrated contact pressure lines to achieve maximum sealing efficiency while maintaining a micro-thin oil film to prevent dry running. The underlying O-ring serves as an active energizer, compensating for high structural tolerances, low-pressure elasticity losses, and material wear by continuously pressing the sealing lips outwards. Additionally, the broad and stable rectangular footprint prevents axial tilting or twisting inside the groove, minimizing stick-slip phenomena and safely resisting gap extrusion under operating pressures up to 40 MPa.
The P36 double-acting composite piston seal is widely used across industrial and mobile hydraulic sectors where high reliability and structural compact designs are required. It is standard equipment in double-acting hydraulic cylinders for agricultural machinery, material handling forklifts, construction excavators, and dump truck lifters. Furthermore, its excellent low-friction profile and high responsive stability make it an ideal selection for commercial factory automation components, mechanical steering cylinders, and general mid-to-heavy duty industrial hydraulic actuators.
