| Bestfluor®5075 belongs to ffkm perfluoroelastomer, which is copolymerized by tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether, and is vulcanized by peroxide system; The material has excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, low compression set and good mechanical properties, with balanced comprehensive performance. It is designed for the chemical processing industry (CPI), oil and gas, semiconductor and other extreme harsh environments. | ||
Application Range
Suitable for harsh working conditions with strong corrosion, ultra-high temperature and high pressure. Core applications:
- Seals: O-rings, gaskets
- Oil & Gas: Oilfield components, can be formulated to meet rapid gas decompression (RGD) requirements and comply with NORSOK standards
- Semiconductor Industry: Parts for semiconductor manufacturing
- General Industry: Elastomer parts resistant to strong corrosion, oil and solvents in the Chemical Process Industry (CPI)
Characteristics
Core Performance
- Ultra-high temperature resistance: Continuous service temperature 260°C
- Excellent chemical resistance: Resistant to hydrocarbons, acids, alkalis, ketones, esters, alcohols, amines, oils and steam; volume change < 5% in most media
- Extremely low compression set: Only 6.0% at 200°C for 70h (standard test piece), 19% at 230°C for 70h (O-ring)
- Stable mechanical properties: Tensile strength 23.1MPa, elongation at break 180%, Shore A hardness 75~90
- Excellent heat aging resistance: No change in hardness after thermal aging at 200–250°C; tensile strength and elongation remain stable
- Good processability: Flexible processing, customizable for rapid gas decompression applications
