General CodeBestfluor® 2675Bestfluor® 2690
Hardness7590
Temperature Range-15°C ~ +260°C
Walle Perfluoroelastomer has the most spectrum of chemical resistance. It can be used for a variety of chemical substances, the coexistence of single or mixed environment, including epoxy acetylene, propylene oxide, etc. Excellent resistance to 260 °C or less hot water and steam properties.
Application Range

Bestfluor® 2675 is suitable for extreme working conditions with strong corrosion, high temperature and high pressure. Its core applications are as follows:

  1.  Seals: O-rings, gaskets
  2.  Oil & Gas Industry: Special parts for oilfields, compatible with rapid gas decompression (RGD) conditions (compliant with NORSOK requirements)
  3.  Semiconductor Industry: Components for semiconductor manufacturing
  4.  General Industry: Elastomer parts resistant to strong corrosion, oil and solvents in the chemical process industry (CPI)
Characteristics

1. Basic Structure & Curing Properties

  • Composed of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether, belonging to FFKM perfluoroelastomers
  • Peroxide curing system, requiring press curing and post curing; standard post curing condition: 260℃ for ≥ 4 hours

2. Core Performance Advantages

  • Excellent chemical resistance: Resistant to hydrocarbons, acids and alkalis, ketones and esters, alcohols, amines, oils, steam, etc., with volume change < 5% in most media
  • High temperature resistance: Peak temperature resistance of 260℃
  • Outstanding compression set: Only 9.6% at 200℃ for 70h (standard test piece), 29% at 260℃ for 70h (O-ring)
  • Stable mechanical properties: Tensile strength of 24.5MPa, elongation at break of 200%, Shore A hardness of 75
  • Excellent heat aging resistance: Minimal changes in strength, hardness and elongation after aging at 200℃ for 1000h and 260℃ for 168h
  • Good processability: Flexible processing, can be formulated to adapt to rapid gas decompression conditions
