F08 twin lip static seal is designed to seal the joint between the gland and the cylinder bore or between the rod and the piston. The sealing element is a very effective replacement for the conventional O-ring and back-up ring combination in heavy-duty applications. The main advantage is its high groove stability compared to a conventional O-ring thus reducing fluid transfer caused by pumping.
Heavy-duty cylinder static sealing (replaces O-ring + back-up ring): Seals joints between gland & cylinder bore, rod & piston at up to 500bar. Superior groove stability vs. standard O-rings reduces fluid transfer from pumping; ideal high-pressure replacement for O-ring/back-up ring sets.
High-pressure hydraulic connection sealing: Used for static joint sealing in cylinders, valve blocks, flanges, end covers, pumps and motors; excellent extrusion & deformation resistance for long-term high-pressure reliability.
Ultra-low temperature static sealing: Molded in polyurethane with outstanding -45°C low-temperature performance; perfect for cold-region construction machinery, cold-chain hydraulics and outdoor equipment in frigid environments.
Multi-fluid heavy-duty applications: Recommended for mineral oils, water, HFA, HFB, synthetic esters; compatible with HFC; not suitable for gases or phosphate esters; ideal for mining, metallurgy and construction machinery.
