Manufactured in either a polyurethane or polyester shell energised by a high quality O-ring and designed for common North American grooves. The sealing lips are trimmed at an angle to give optimal rod sealing performance. In most cases, the deep profile of the R04 provides extra stability needed to resist rolling in the groove. Together these features result in improved life and sealing.

At zero or low pressure, the O-ring helps to increase the sealing force preventing any bypass. Under most conditions as the pressure rises, the sealing force increases and the O-ring ensures complete lip actuation.

Single-acting hydraulic cylinders (rod & piston universal): Symmetric design for single-acting rod sealing and piston sealing; fits common North American standard grooves, widely used as general-purpose hydraulic seal in North American market.

Medium & low pressure stable sealing: Max pressure 350bar; deep profile prevents rolling in groove. O-ring boosts sealing force at zero/low pressure to avoid bypass; lips fully actuate as pressure rises for consistent sealing.

Low-speed reciprocating machinery: Max speed 0.5m/s, ideal for machine tools, fixtures, small hydraulic systems and auxiliary cylinders of construction machinery.

Multi-fluid compatible industrial applications: Recommended for mineral oils, HFB emulsions, synthetic esters; compatible with water, HFA, air/nitrogen; not suitable for HFC water glycols and phosphate ester fluids; covers most general hydraulic media.

Wide-temperature general equipment: Operates at -40°C to 110°C, suitable for cold-region outdoor machinery, industrial stationary hydraulic units and normal-temperature workshop equipment.

North American standard groove matching: Designed for common North American grooves, available in metric and inch sizes for export equipment and original North American cylinder maintenance.

Long-life wear-resistant applications: Precision trimmed sealing lips, polyurethane/polyester material with excellent wear and extrusion resistance, used in logistics, agricultural and construction machinery.
