Q1: What types of sealing products do you supply?

A: We specialize in perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) seals, spring energized seals (GreatSeal®), O-rings, high-speed rotary seals, food & pharmaceutical grade seals, oil & gas industry seals, as well as custom seals for compressors, hydraulic equipment and industrial machinery. We provide high-performance alternatives to imported sealing products.

Q2: How do I choose the right seal for my equipment?

A: Please provide the following operating conditions: medium type, operating temperature, static/dynamic pressure, motion type (reciprocating, rotary or static) and running speed. Our technical team will recommend the most suitable material and seal model for you.

Q3: Where are spring-energized seals used?

A: Spring energized seals perform excellently under extreme working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, strong chemical corrosion, vacuum and ultra-low temperature. They are widely used in chemical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, food processing, valve and hydraulic systems.

Q4: What are the advantages of FFKM (Perfluoroelastomer) seals?

A: FFKM seals feature universal chemical resistance, wide temperature range and long service life. They can withstand temperatures up to 260°C, and are ideal for strict hygiene and highly corrosive environments in pharmaceutical, semiconductor and fine chemical industries.

Q5: Do you provide FDA compliant seals?

A: Yes. Our FDA-grade silicone and elastomer seals prevent dirt accumulation, suitable for food processing and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems. All products comply with food and pharmaceutical industry hygiene standards.

Q6: What is the difference between common sealing materials (NBR, HNBR, FKM, FFKM)?

A:
NBR: Cost-effective, good oil resistance for general applications.
HNBR: Better heat resistance and anti-aging performance than NBR, suitable for high-temperature oil media.
FKM: Outstanding heat and chemical resistance for harsh corrosive conditions.
FFKM: Top-level universal chemical resistance for the most extreme working environments.
Silicone: Excellent for food, medical and clean applications with wide temperature adaptability.

Q7: What are the standard temperature, pressure and speed ranges of your seals?

A:
Temperature: -70°C ~ +260°C; Special models support -120°C ~ +260°C.
Pressure: Max 45 MPa for dynamic working, max 80MPa for static working.
Speed: Up to 15 m/s for reciprocating motion, up to 1m/s for rotary motion.

Q8: Can your seals work with my special fluids or chemicals?

Installation & Troubleshooting

Q9: What should I consider during seal installation?

A:
Keep seal grooves clean without burrs or impurities.
Lubricate properly and avoid twisting or scratching the seal.
Maintain reasonable compression rate (15% – 30%).
Install back-up rings under high pressure to prevent extrusion damage.
Use professional tools to avoid eccentric loading.

Q10: What causes seal leakage?

A: Common reasons include improper model/material selection, installation damage, excessive clearance or misalignment, medium corrosion, high temperature aging, and fatigue of the energizing spring.

Q11: What should I do if a seal is worn, noisy, or hardened?

A:
Wear: Improve lubrication, filter particle contaminants or select wear-resistant materials.
Abnormal noise: Check shaft concentricity and add lubricant.
Hardening & cracking: The seal exceeds the rated temperature or medium range, please replace with matched materials.
