F10
| Temp range | -60°C~230°C |
The F10 profile represents a high-performance, single-acting elastomeric static seal designed with a flat vertical inner boundary and a precision outer-crowned (curved) dynamic profile face. Specifically engineered for static or micro-movement joint configurations, plug interfaces, and housing gland walls, this profile provides enhanced localized line contact pressure at the sealing apex upon installation. It serves as an optimized upgrade over standard O-rings and traditional square rings by combining a secure, non-twisting seating base with an highly responsive outward curvature, guaranteeing an absolute leak-free static barrier under severe working pressures.
The solid sealing body (shown in black) is molded from high-grade Nitrile Rubber (NBR), Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR), or premium Fluoroelastomer (FKM) compound, depending on the thermal and chemical criteria of the operating environment. This engineering-grade elastomer exhibits superior resistance to compression set, outstanding tear strength, and high long-term structural elasticity. It functions reliably within a broad temperature window from -35°C to +110°C (up to +200°C when utilizing high-spec fluoropolymer variants) and offers complete chemical compatibility with mineral-based hydraulic oils, heavy industrial lubricants, water-glycol fluids, and environmental synthetic greases.
The distinct cross-sectional configuration featuring a flat vertical back and a domed front face delivers unique structural benefits: the wide rectangular baseline provides a highly stable fit inside the installation groove, completely eliminating the risk of rolling, twisting, or spiraling during difficult assembly or intense pressure cycling. Meanwhile, the outer crowned edge concentrates initial assembly pre-load forces to achieve an immediate high-integrity line barrier even in zero-pressure states. Under high system pressures up to 40 MPa, the profile deforms uniformly, maximizing sealing contact area while offering exceptional resistance to gap extrusion and handling high-frequency pressure shocks.
The F10 crowned static seal is widely utilized throughout industrial, mobile, and heavy-duty hydraulic engineering wherever robust and leak-free permanent connections are required. It is standardly equipped in high-pressure SAE hydraulic flanges, cartridge valve housings, block manifolds, and hydraulic cylinder end plugs. Additionally, its high structural stability and reliable zero-leakage behavior make it the preferred selection for chemical processing pumps, heavy industrial gas compressors, high-tonnage mechanical pressing equipment, and subsea oil and gas control modules.
