The R03 type seal ring is a professional piston rod seal specially developed for the plunger cylinders, propulsion cylinders and auxiliary cylinders of support systems. It is made of high-performance polyurethane (PU) and polyoxymethylene (POM) materials, combining the excellent toughness, wear resistance of polyurethane and the high rigidity, extrusion resistance of polyoxymethylene, and is widely applicable to hydraulic sealing scenarios of engineering support equipment.
Polyurethane (PU)
Polyurethane material features ultra-high wear resistance, good elasticity and fatigue resistance. It has strong adaptability to frequent dynamic reciprocating motion of cylinder piston rods, can maintain stable sealing elasticity under long-term pressure, and effectively avoid seal failure caused by elastic aging and wear. Meanwhile, it possesses excellent medium resistance and can resist erosion of common hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and other industrial media.
Polyoxymethylene (POM)
Polyoxymethylene has high structural rigidity, outstanding compression resistance and extrusion resistance. It can effectively support the seal main body under high-pressure hydraulic working conditions, prevent the seal ring from deforming and extruding through the gap due to high pressure, and greatly improve the pressure resistance and structural stability of the product. In addition, POM has low friction coefficient and good dimensional stability.
- Strong Deflection Adaptability: The optimized structural design allows the R03 seal ring to bear larger radial eccentric load, which can adapt to the installation deviation and operational deflection of the cylinder, avoiding sealing leakage caused by eccentric wear.
- Excellent Extrusion Resistance: Matching with POM high-rigid support structure, the product effectively prevents the seal ring from being extruded and damaged under high-pressure working conditions, and adapts to large gap installation requirements.
- Dustproof & Anti-pollution Performance: Equipped with an independent secondary sealing lip, it can effectively block external dust, sediment and impurities from invading the cylinder interior, protect the piston rod and hydraulic system, and reduce equipment failure rate.
- Superior Sealing Performance: It has excellent static and dynamic sealing properties. It maintains zero leakage in static sealing state and stable sealing effect during high-frequency dynamic reciprocating operation, with good pressure holding performance.
- Excellent Medium Resistance: The composite material formula resists erosion of various hydraulic media, is not easy to swell, age and deform, and adapts to complex industrial working environments.
- High Wear Resistance & Long Service Life: PU main body with high wear resistance greatly reduces the friction loss between the seal and the piston rod, and the POM support structure enhances the overall durability, realizing long-term stable operation.
